This is a plant with about 500 species - can you imagine that? I only know that this is a plant with the most incredible autumn colours I can think of - even more intense and differentiated than those of the maple. Now click on the images and your eyes will be dazzled...
In our region you seldom have the opportunity to see so many different trees in their autumn colours because normally it is very windy at this time of the year and the leaves are falling very quickly. But this year I was lucky to find many different colours and forms...
This is the most spectacular plant I have ever seen - at least regarding the leaves - and again I have no idea what it is. When backlit you will see what I mean: the leaves looked as if an artist has batiked them - simply amazing... Does anyone know the name of this plant?
Last Sunday I could not present you a photo for GTS theme because I was on the road back home from my Mom who is currently very sick. But I try to continue to supply photos because working on these images helps me a bit to cope with my sadness.
