I love those fluffy parts of the grasses which tickle the nose...

I cannot tell you how fed up I am to look out of the window and seeing nothing but a grey sky and rain or very wet snow coming down. No sun, no fun. Therefore I need something to take it more from the funny side. Now imagine these weren't snowy white but fleshy colours...

Thistle with Diamonds...

You know what? I love thistles - during summer time they have absolutely beautiful blooms and they supply the best food for all kinds of bees and butterflies. And in wintertime they are the most beautiful little ice queens - don't you think?



A different kind of Thistle...

These are the frozen remnants of globe thistles. Don't they look adorable in their coat of snow white frosting?

Seldom enough we have the opportunity to see these funny iced trees - it looks so beautiful with a brilliant blue sky - ethereal and just right out of a fairy tale...
